Hi! I’m Joshua Powell. I have been recording and mixing music for 25 years. In 2007 I opened the Map Room Recording Studio in Portland, Oregon. I designed and built the studio and much of the recording equipment inside. I enjoy making complex systems simple and easy to use. My design methods is clean, clear, and simple. I have worked as engineer with many musicians including, Grandaddy, Alela Diane, Chris Pureka, Anna Tivel, Aminé, Raphael Saadiq, and many others.
