I’ve been recording and mixing music and building and maintaining studios for over two decades. How can I support your audio project?

I offer remote mixing and mastering services with quick turn around. I listen to what you and the song are asking for and I am methodical when doing revisions. I’ve mixed records for Chris Pureka, Anna Tivel, Chuck Israels Jazz Orchestra, and many others. Hear samples of my work on Soundbetter.
I built and maintained much of the equipment that we used for 17 years in The Map Room Recording Studio in Portland, OR including microphones, preamps, eqs, compressors, and custom cabling. I also worked in other studios building, repairing and maintaining gear, building acoustic treatment and designing systems and workflows. I offer analog gear repair and custom gear and cabling builds.
I designed and built all the acoustic treatment for The Map Room including parabolic and 2d quadratic diffusers, bass traps, and broadband absorbers. I have designed and built treatment for other studios as well. I offer consulting on studio process and design including home studios for music or voice where resources must be maximised.
